ok, now youve lost me. DCR, SCR????

pappydan - i have 44lb/hr injectors and a stock pump with a returnless fuel system. my fuel pressure guage stays at about 58psi even at WOT. i do plan to upgrade the fuel pump, but it isnt top priority, cuz i only get to the track once in a great while. and even though i have a lead foot i dont get too many WOT passes on the street. but do know there is risk there.

I've setup alot of Gen II's and Gen III's with well over 11:1 compression with good tuning on 93 octane fuel. Cam choice is a big deal as is how you get the compression ratio. People run LS2's with boost all the time as an example on pump gas. That's 10.9:1 compression with 7-10psi of boost for strong applications. Computer technology makes that possible as well as how efficient the gen III engine is setup to be.
