What do yall think about that cam (xer273) in this combo?
5.3 bored to 3.905
stock crank
Ported 5.3 heads 290cfm on intake
long tubes
D1-sc 10lbs boost
3000# vigilante
3.73 gears

It looks like a good blower cam to me with the longer exh duration and wide LSA but with a 5.3 it will be a choppier idle and the rpm band will move up slightly and less low end. Something to consider.

he is boring the 5.3l to ls1 bore. So a little more cu bes to help eat some of the duration.

Thats the cam that I decided to go with. I'll post up specs for my combo when I get it all the parts back. Should have this thing put back together within the next month.

i have a friend running a 226/220 on a 114+2 565/570 and in a cc it ran a 12.64 at 109 and it sounds stock untill you open the cut outs
