Default l92, lsxr intake question

i did a 6.2 swap in a 2006 rcsb truck a few months ago. runs great, etc, etc. customer wants to do the rec port lsxr intake(fast doesnt make a rec. port truck intake yet) for a car. i told him it will not fit b/c of the neck on the waterpump, and that the waterpump and some pullies would have to change. he said the tech at fast told him it would work.....SO, WILL IT????? i dont think it will.....

It will fit.... If you change out water pump and the rest of that stuff. They made the LsxRT for a reason. They just havent developed it for the new ports

well if he doesnt wanna listen to ya tell him to try it and find out

it wont fit without mods to the alt/pwr bracket, relocation of the idler pulley, and a f body water pump, also his injectors wont work nor will the pigtails and i dont think his fuel rails wont work but not sure .

Actually i remember seeing a thread where someone used a huge/thick tb spacer for the tb to help clear the waterpump neck. Then they just trimmed the alt bracket and moved the pulley.

It worked on mine with a truck water pump, but if you get a 102mm TB you need a car style water pump for clearance of water neck. My entire pulley system need attention for everything to align properly.
