LS2 has long been proven over on LS1tech to be basically an LS1 intake with a 90mm opening... not worth it. LS6 is superior.

That's interesting. I knew that was the case for the LS2 truck mani's but didn't know it was the same on the car side.

So guys what's a ect plate and port only? I'd like to see the same charts but with the truck manifolds on there also. I know they're on the static flow charts, but not on the hp and tq sheets. I'd like to see them constantly compared to see power gains and loses and where they happen. BTW guys, awesome step up for getting this info.

I was told this to when I went from a Direct Port FAST setup to a LS2 intake so I could still use my 90mm TB. I only lost 3 peak HP on the dyno VS the FAST. Now don't get me wrong the FAST pulled better thru the whole RPM range and will keep pulling all the way up to 7000RPM but for my setup the LS2 intake works great.

Now if you look at the numbers here the LS2 intake is very close to the LS6 intake but at 5600RPM the LS6 intake falls off compared to the LS2.

That article is where the graphs in post #1 come from. I just tabulated all those charts into one table for easy viewing.

"asa"?
The vic jr, with it's short runners would be better for a "RPM Engine" but with it's smallish plenum (not sure of size) it gains back some of the low end. The Vic jr is more for suiteable for engines running above 6,000 than below, depending on the throttle body location of course.
