under application it says 305 and 350... It doesn't say anything about the ls engines.

According to the application chart, those are small block chevy lifters, unless I'm missing something...get em outta there!

Yes they fit older style small-blocks, but in this case your in luck as they are the same.........whew! Actually it's nothing new, as even small & big-blocks take the same lifters when using flat tappet hydraulic or solid lifters. It's just the wonderfull cross-compatibility of GM at work.

A little clip from Comp's description: Pro-Magnum 875-16, Chevrolet Small Block 305 & 350, Use in Blocks Originally Equipped w/ Hydraulic Roller Cam ('87 to Present and LS1).

Well that's good news, are there any other sbc engine parts or bearings that will swap over to the GENIII's? This is the info I like to know

One would be rod bearings.

Youve heard bad things becuase no one runs them correctly. They are made to have .002"- .006" preload, thats it!!! This means these lifters require an adjustable valvetrain.

Ive run the heck out of 875-16 in LS engines, spun well over 7000 time and time again, but I know what Im doing.

I also run Comps 850-16 in my own personal vehicle, they are the "stock replacement" style needed for LS engines. Ive even run Comps newest LS "short travel" lifter in a few engines and would have gotten those for mine, but they werent released at the time I did my swap.
