i started to swap wires around today. when i got to the third wire the ses light stopped flashing, and stayed solid. so i'm thinking that the misfire is fixed and now it's just reading a bad sensor. what is really sending me for a loop is the truck is still chugging at idle and has a shake right around 2,000 rpms. one of my friends has an extra maf sensor at his house so we're going to swap that out and see what happens. i'm hoping that this is the problem but i find it hard to believe that some little sensor can effect the engine that much. i bought the engine as a long block so it was pretty much complete and looked as if it was never torn down. so if there is anything else that you guys can think of for us to check out that would be great. thank you in advance.
