Just swapped out the ole 4.8 for a lq4.
Specs are stock bottom end minus the pistons. They are 20 over replacements 243 heads ls2 head head gaskets ls7 lifters vrx3 cam 226/228 588 lift arp all the way thru stock intake ahr long tubes ory cai 3200 fti converter 342 gear silverado. Taking it to get tuned in the next week or 2 and trying to get an idea on what kinda power it will put down hoping for close to 400 rwhp. Are my expectations to high or am I close???

Depends on the dyno. Dynojet would probably read close to 400. Dyno dynamics may be in the 350 range.

a friend of mine has the same setup on hes 4wd also swaped from a 4.8

specs are 20 over pistons same cam as yours, slight hand ported 243s , and a NNBS intake+edelbrock 90mm , fast 36 injectors , results were 397whp and 400+ wtq

I guess I should be close a friend has close to the same set up just stock bore 241s and a Lil less cam and made 365whp last week

I had 373s with the g80 but it exploded but now deciding with 430s and still undecided with what locker. I would be happy with 380rwhp I just dont want to get there and be disappointed with like 330-350 hp

yeah u should be close to 400rwhp. I am pretty sure i am with stock 317s lol. Should run like hell! Big step up from the 4.8 lol.
