Default How much can LQ4 Take????

hey guys!!!

just wonder, how much stock LQ4 internal can take?
How much Can 402 stroker kit makes?
Can't decide if I want to go with forged 402cid stroker kit. OR just supercharger it and call it a day!!!

I know supercharger will max out at about 400-450WHP.
wondering how much storker kit will make with not too aggressive cam because it will be use as DD + SHOW!!!

tell me what you think guys!!thanks!!

You rock a SC LQ4 for 500hp or very close to that without a problem all day long.
If you stroke it and go a mild cam you should net very close to the same numbers.
Just a matter of what you want more if you ask me.
Myself i'd go stroker and then put some nitrous on it for a little extra for that just in case i need it factor.

Stock internal can take upto 500WHP? because I aiming for about 500WHP, anything more will be too harsh for DD.(i think)

I leaning towards SC, because it's simple and get good power out of it, I dont like the sound, I can always get exhaust cutoff.

The only thing you might need to upgrade is the Rod end bolts.$70.00 for those.
Other than that 500 is easy to push threw em.

well I thinking about getting Whipple if I can find one. because whipple charges too much for extra crap. I dont need none of there electronics, I got that cover. just need chargers to hook it up. will going to use 43lbs injectors.
also I'm thinking about vic jr Intake setup. I think I need some fabs to make it work on SC. I seen SC with LS6 intake they are very nice.
If anybody sell nice clean used whipple charger let me know.

Lately KenneBell supercharger caught my attentions as well 3500.00 for kit.
not bad. they are basically same as whipple.

Not much into root chargers!
Radix are Awesome chargers for sure.
