talked to the guy @ newtech recommended going with a forged/stroker 408.. a pretty good price.. told me i could be hitting 500 to 530 rwhp on all motor and with the nitrous shot 675- 700 rwhp

Just because someone tells you you can hit bug dyno numbers, does not mean you will like the way it drives in a truck. To obtain that kind of power N/A, the cam should be pretty agressive. Do you plan on drag racing the truck? Or street driving it? Figure some of these things out and this will help in your build. As for motor builds, we have done tons, we are not cheap, but we have built some pretty reliable motors. Plus we have done tons of trucks too.
