yeah we think its done i having a friend come to take a look at it and will go from there i think it will just be easier to just put a new motor in and then fix the 4.8 as a back up or what not

man that sucks, pull the caps, and inspect everything. Check and blow air in all of the oil passages.

well robert... ive been looking there are a few possibilities... but ill talk to you later on... with your present situation i think everyone on here will tell you a 5.3 would be a great option for reliability and ability to build some good power
