i bought a cam and springs for my truck it is a ls6 cam the specs are 550 550 i lost one of the springs so i went to the dealer and ordered a pack of 5 since thats how they come. The springs are not yellow so thats what worries me the part number is 12589774. will these work?? also what are the specs if any body knows. i also ordered a pack of caps and keys these look right the part numbers are 10166344 for the cap and 10166345 for the keys will these work or did the dealer screw me on this thanks my truck motor is a 5.3

I Googled "12589774" and I came up with .510" maximum lift on those springs. They seem to be stock LS1 springs not LS6.

 

that sucks then i amgoing to take those back if hes that stupid he cant order the right parts does anyboy have the part number for the ls6 springs

And i might take you up on the offer for the springs if i cant get these swaped out

 

wierd that they'd come in sets of five, i wonder if they were for a canyon or something

thanks for all the help guys i am going to chew some *** at the dealership tomorow and see if they will take the springs back

 

they took the springs back and ordered the right ones so hopfuly this weekend it will go in
