well the oil is clean and no metal. guage says 0psi. I think its the oil pump( which it shouldnt be seeming i bought it from texas speed). steve bryant since your in the wichita area if you wanted to swing by and put your in put in it would be helpful(i can also pay you for your time)

did you confirm the lack of oil pressure with a mechanical gauge??

I may be wrong on this but i am pretty sure you need the kent moore adapter tool to check pressure on these engines. I have tried to do it through the sender port, but it has a really funky thread pitch to it.

IF YOU HAVE A LOCAL DEALER.... GO TALK TO A HEAVY LINE TECH... MOST OF THEM ARE COOL AND WILL CHECK IT REAL QUICK FOR YOU IF YOU DROP THEM A 20 OR SO

Did You Hear Any Noises From The Engine When It Went To 0 Oil Pressure? You Should Hear A Lifter Tap Or Something.


Also I Have Seen Some Clusters Go Bad And The Oil Gauge Reads 0 Or Sticks.

Also I Believe You Should Have A Switch That Kills Your Fuel Pump If Oil Pressure Is At 0.

i can hear the lifter tap.and it sounds horrible dont know how to explain it.

Don't start it up anymore until you get the oil pump replaced. Hopefully that'll fix your problem but i wouldn't count on it. You may get oil pressure back but i'll be willing to bet you'll have a knock still.
