I got a 220/220 Texas speed cam to go along with my 243 heads..I used to have 706 heads hugee difference to me...if ur truck is a DD then dont go too big on the cam although now that I have my 220/220 I wanna go bigger lol...

It will be sort of a DD. Meaning I will drive it when I feel like it. But I still have to be able to tow a small fishing boat with it.

Im going to boost soon so Im buying for the future I guess you could say.

I have no problems with changing out the stall.

I've heard u mill the heads different if u do boost but not sure...I'm looking into doing a stall next but as far as I know 243 are a big upgrade dont use the 706 for sure if ur doing boost

Just bought some 243s milled .030 with upgraded springs and retainers.

Which head gasket thickness should I use? Looked for a sticky but couldnt find stock thickness.

Where is the formula for compression ratio size?

AAAannndddd how do I know which head bolt kit to buy? How can I tell if I have Gen3 or Gen4?

I went to my dealership told them what heads I bought and what year truck they were off of they pulled up the diagram and sold me the bolts and gaskets if that helps also autozone carries them for about 65 a set

Going to install the 243s this weekend. Which head bolts? Standard length set? Or the set with 2 different lengths?

tr220 or tr224 depend if you got a converter or not.

I think the 04' and up used the different sized bolts.
