You're like me, you have lots of extra stuff to work around. With my Radix, I removed the J-Tube, and the intercooler piping on the driver's side. I spent the whole weekend, but I was cleaning other stuff, too.
As far as messing stuff up, unless you don't line up the dots on the cam, and crank gear correctly, I think the rest is pretty much idotproof. Spin the cam over a few times to push the lifters up in to the trays, pull it out, carefully slide the new one in. Take your hand, and snap the lifters back onto the cam, run the rocker bolts down to snug, and after they're all snug, torque to 22ft. lbs. Spin the engine over a few times, checking to make sure all the rockers are in place, install the cam cover, and valve covers, torque, and it's mostly done.

Did you change your oil pump or timing chain?

No, not at this time. That makes it a little harder (although certainly not impossible).
