Default Fuel Pump for 408ci Silverado

Guys,

What is the best in-tank fuel pump for my modified 2000 Silverado Z71?....I built a 408ci (forged) with cnc'd LS6 243s on top, Torquer2 cam, 44lb injectors, and true dual exhaust. I just got it running briefly with a base tune before the O2 sensors (stock) and transmission went bad. Now, while I'm waiting to install the trans, I think the fuel pump is gone...( can't hear it priming when turning the ignition switch)...so....is the Walbro 255 with a harness from Racetronix or Texas Speed the best way to go on this particular GM yr/model?...After marker in-take pumps aren't too common for this vehicle...unless I'm missing something. THanks,

Stroker2112

Thanks Quik....I notice that most all the Walbros have specific applications listed (Camaro, Firebird, F-Body 92-98, etc...) for their product, but they don't include late model (2000 +) GM trucks....did you just use one of the F-body pumps or did you get something specific/wiring/etc... for your truck (and where did you find it!?)

Thanks,

actually im using a walboro from a cobra. only down fall is it didnt have the harness but i had the harness plug from a fbody one. as long as you have the plug your safe or you can just simply use Stakons and make youre own plug. very simple. as for anything else its a direct drop in. just remove the stock pump and replace it. but i would upgrade the fuel feed line from pump to the nipple instead of the plastic tube they use. honestly you can have the pump swapped even bed off in 1 hour from the minute you pull in garage to minute you leave garage. if pump was already made up you could have it done in 25 minutes if that. 8 bed bolts, two plugs and spin the ring off and remove. swap them out and drop bed back on

reason for cobra pump, needed pump asap and my buddy runs Laurel mountain mustang so he took care of me
