Default forged 370 with small bore heads

Had a quick question for some of you gurus out there. I've been debating building a forged piston/rod 370 and finding some shavings im a little closer to pulling the trigger. My only dilemma is that I dropped a big chunk of change on some small bore tfs 205 comp. ported heads. I know the chamber size won't be helping anything as well as the intake runners being too small for the goals I have in mind. I mean for a temporary deal how do you think they'd do just until I can afford a set of tea/tfs 245s? Or am I better off just sending these heads out to tea for porting opening up the chambers etc I'm thinking a high compression 11.5-12:1 370 240s duration cam and possibly spraying it later on down the road.

Thanks in advance

T.J.

Sell the tfs205 heads and buy some 243/799 heads and save for better ones.

Only downside is I just scored a fast 102 but that might have to go up for sale. I spun the filter at work and things aren't looking too promising

Well the trigger has been pulled on a 370, I'll probably call tea tomorrow just for a quote on the heads if not I'll probably just sell them and end up going tea/tfs225

Found an interesting article on ls1tech about the small bore heads
AFR 205's vs Trickflow 205's who has a pair? - LS1TECH

I'll be going around a high 230s to low 240s duration cam. Maybe I'll run these just for the time being until I can afford a better heads and or heads cam combo. Due to our company being relocated shortly I'd rather not blow everything I have left. Do you guys think it's possible to still make around 450+wheel through these heads? Or is it really in my best interest to sell these and just upgrade later?
