i figured just a hone also but im not gonna argue with them over 40 bucks.

is there any good places in edmonton that do LS stuff on a regular basis? where i went they don't do hardly any of it, alot of industrial/sbc/bbc stuff.

If it's anything like Ontario the only places that do LS cater to the 'Vette crowd so they can charge an arm and a leg. $600 for a dyno-tune, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Look into ABS Competition in Regina. Bruce is AWESOME, and he's at the shop all the bloody time. He stroked my 455 crank to 495 for 300 bucks.

Yeah going rate is about 650 here.

Eh i dont know if they do it on a regular basis but they are familiar with it.

I did relatively the same build as you are doing. I had a new GM 6.0l block and had it honed to 4.005 for Wiseco -11cc forged pistons. My local shop charged me about $175 for the hone with torques plates. They said no need to bore for much a small amount of material removal.
