Default Finally got a 6 liter..

Got it from my brother fairly cheap... it came out of 03 silverado SS.

I'm wanting to shoot for a high CR close to 11.1 Any help in the right direction guys on how to get there?

right, if its from a silverado SS its a lq9.

if it is an lq9, then all that is needed for 11:1 comp. is to swap on some 243(LS6) heads and there you have it

Thats awesome news then.. I have a set of good 243 heads in the storage... Would the L92 heads do any better?

A little TLC and she'll be good to go! I'm wanting to do a fast 90 setup, Heads, Nitrous and swap over the rest of my bolt ons from the 4.8L over including the 220/224 camshaft.

l92s will require a L92-specific intake manifold, other than that i hear that they are some awesome heads for factory heads. also hear that they like a different cam than a normal gen 3 head does
