Default Finally doing the cam swap next week. Few final detail questions.

So I decided not swap the oil pump since it works perfectly 41 psi idle. If I ever do have to replace it I have e fans so it wouldn't be near the job of the cam swap besides the scary pick up tube bolt.

My main question is if the timing gears have no missing teeth or signs of ware can I just throw the ls2 chain on? I was thinking of un bolting the oil pump and pull just enough to get chain through and over.

The gears have 150,000 miles on them but the cam/tune will only run to 6100

Question two I have a set of 862 heads milled .03 and decided not to do a DIY port job. reason 1 gains will never come close to a perfect cnc port. reason 2 scared of not doing and even job and actually losing power.

Will the graphite gaskets work since there is no notch???
