Default Feeler: LS7 build?

I got an idea to build an ls7 short block using a 3.622 crank and 4.125 pistons. It will be using a set of cnc'd ls3 heads and l92 intake. This would make it a 387 ci instead of 427. Just seeing if this has been done before and any recommendations about the concept of the build.

Thanks,
Kyle

its a ls7 block but instead of a 4.000 inch stroke it would be a 3.622 which would make the cubic inches of the motor roughly 387.

i would go with an iron block lsx 454 then add a 3.75 custom crank

did you look at the copo camaros with the 327 4.125 bore and 4.8 stroke?

I wish g.m. would build a 7.0 liter for the heavy duty trucks so the 4.125 bore blocks would be more plentiful and not so damn expensive.
