Radix S/C
GT2-3 Cam
2600 Stall

And you would have a beast that you could still tow anything that you wanted to hook up to....

Wow, that was fast Tim. That was a smart choice and one that I think you'll be happy with.

The Radix kits come with larger fuel pumps and injectors. You shouldn't need to buy anything else.

I actually bought it from a buddy but he left the fuel pump in his truck. I saw maggie had a fuel pump voltage booster. Do you know if this will be enough or do I need the pump.

Thanks,
Tim

Why is the Radix SC the one talked about most? What are your opinions on a twin screw like a Kenne Bell? I think there both good I just wanted to know if anyone has experience with either, and why they like one best. I too want to improve my 6.0 and have been turning myself inside out trying to decide what to do. They only thing I don't like about FI is that you always have to run 91 octane or better.
I'm new here and I'm sorry if I'm being rude by jumping in to someone elses thread and asking something I'm sure has been asked 100's of times. Thank you for all or your answers and help.

yurs78 - sounds like you answered your own question. My simple answer: There are many good superchargers. The KB is good, but isn't intercooled. The Radix is cooled and is a very complete "kit", taking care of your fueling and tuning needs. Ati and Vortech also make good products, but their design makes more power on the top end. On an heavy vehicle like a hummer or SUV, or large truck, the low end power gained from a Radix (or KR / whipple) really makes the driving experience much better. Now which it is right for you, that depends on your goals and vehicle. Oh yeah, welcome to the site.

ttkresurfacing - It shouldn't be difficult to contact one of our site sponsors or magnacharger directly to buy the fuel pump. I've bought parts for my Radix from BlownChevy in the past.

Thanks for the help. I feel like I found heaven on here. Many people who have done all the things to their truck that I dream about. And willing to give some advice to save us from the pitfalls that are out there. Sweet!
The thing I want most is off idle power, instantly, enough to almost break your kneck. After reading it sounds like the Radix has more off idle power than the twin screw. And all of the efficiency I thought I would get from a KB really doesn't come into play becasue I don't ever plan on running more than 7-8 lbs of boost. And like everyone says the kit is as complete as you can get for a one stop shop.
Thanks again guys for all of your help so far. When I do SC my truck I'll definatly ask on here first. Until then I'll just have to keep reading all of the sweet info on here.

Big Tex,
Are you using the tune from maggie or a custom tune? I need a tune for mine and am trying to decide between the two. To get the custom one done they would like a copy of the maggie tune as a base to start with. Is there a way to get a copy of their tune without buying their tuner or should I just use maggies tune?

Thanks,
Tim
