I have a 2007 Tahoe 5.3L gen4. Is the gasket kit for a gen 3 the same? I am going to rebuild my engine and the few places that actually show a kit for a 2007 are out of stock.

 

No, it's not the exact same. You'd be missing some gaskets or getting the wrong ones if you used a GEN 3 gasket kit.

You may just have to purchase the gaskets you need separately if you can't find a complete kit.

I wasn't sure where he was looking for parts.

 

At this point if it aint RockAuto, TSP or @RPMSpeed Tech , I dont know where to look
