electric cutouts

Default electric cutouts

hey guys if i got a electric cut out for my suburban 5.3. would i see a change when i go from open header to closed? i want to do this but needed some input and i know open header will prob. make my car sound like

if you dont have headers, then it will just be open exhaust, or manifolds...

place the cut-out back from your factory y pipe a few feet... and it will sound fine while driving, it will just sound like **** idling... until you get a nice cam and LT headers.

mine picks up 21 rwhp with the cutout open.

I installed mine Yesterday after the Catalic converter before the Muffler sounds awesome from outside but from inside U hate yourself because of the drone you must have the music Full volume when ur driving with open cutouts

I liked the way my truck (basically stock at the time) sounded with a cutout.

BTW, why is this in Internal engine modifications?
