Default Driving after cam swap

Just finished up my dod delete and cam swap. Parts list went like this....

JFR Isky triple 12 +3* advance
Isky 165a springs
Comp pushrods
Comp trunion upgrade
ARP headbolts

And all associated gaskets, covers, and orings to go with it. The pickup tube o-ring can go to hell, or that bolt at least... Anyway install went fine truck started right up no problem oil pressure is great all is well. Needs a retune, obviously, and I have emailed Justin@blackbear and sent him a new log file. Truck runs smooth but idle and part throttle driving could be a bit better, and I'm sure I'll pick up power throughout the powerband. Question is can I drive it to work this week on the 91 octane tune justin provided before the swap. All other mods in addition to the cam are....

91 octane tune from Justin
Trans tune from him as well
Powerbond udp pulley
Airaid tube and filter

Justin hasn't got back to me yet so I figured I'd ask around here. And yes, I used the search feature...she does not like me I guess.

agreed, you'll be fine driving it as is until you get the new tune in. I drove my old truck with no tune and headers/cam/etc for a while and never had any issues. sounds like a nice setup by the way!

Got my retune from Justin, truck runs much better. Still need to email him another log for a final touch up if any is needed. Much better mid range and top end and low end torque is still quite good. Although now the "need" for a stall is more apparent, the yank pt3200 should help out.

Thanks for the replys people!
