So based on what my tuner has told me, the cam I wanted to get will be a dog in my truck until I get a stall converter and regear....he recommended the BTR Stage 2 cam, which is originally what I was going to go with anyway. So I think I'm going to do that, and Circle D recommended this stall converter:

Circle D said I'd be good with either, so I think I'm gonna do the 3000-3200 stall.

Originally I was going to go with the Brian Tooley Racing Truck Stage II cam:

BTR TRUCK STAGE II CAM

Which is what I'm back to thinking I'm gonna run instead of the Engine Power Systems Truck Torque 2 cam:

EPS Camshaft Truck Torque 2

If I keep it lifted I'll regear to 4.56's but if I lower it I'll stick with the 3.73's I've got now. But I just like the idea of a turbo truck being lowered instead of lifted.

Something like this would be sick:

But being 4WD I'm limited by my CV angles. I think I can do a 5/8 drop if I decide to do it (2" spindles and 3" struts)

Well originally I wasn't going to go with the stall but I'm pulling the engine to do the work on it anyway so I'm going to do it when I do the engine work. I still think I'll stick with the BTR cam though.

It's about 7" on 315/70/17's right now. Here, my truck is the white one:
