found a junk yard with a ton of 90mm cable throttle bodies. do the make an adapter for the nbs intake manifold?

Should I just go ahead and get the nnbs intake manifold? What are typical power gains on a 01 5.3L

 

unless you have some fancy heads and big cam, i doubt your goin to see a significant difference.

 

You need a 4-bolt throttle body with a 90mm opening. GM has never made one cable-driven. They're all DBW.

 

Drive by wire is the NOT the electric one correct?

Just milled heads and 210/218 .584 .584 116lsa

 

Drive by Wire is electronic - DBW
Drive by Cable is mechanical - DBC



IM not saying it wont help, but i dont think your goin to be happy for the money spent vs power gains.

 

I bought the TBSS intake BRAND NEW and complete with rails/injectors for $175, a PTM 92mm dbc TB for $350, injector adapters for $96, and I still have to buy the corvette fuel pressure regulator to make the TBSS intake work. If I wasn't dropping the 6 liter in it I wouldn't even do the swap. I'll be in it for over $600 when done for about 15rwhp that I won't even feel.
