Default Custom BLower cam from Richard@WCCH

I'm ready to buy my cam and don't know what to do. I know i'll be ordering from Richard@WCCH as he can have Comp Cams custom grind me anything i want. The question is, what do i want? lol. This will be going into my stock bottom end 6.0 with a maggie mp122hh blower. i've already orderd my 918 springs, ti retainers, ported ls6 oil pump, and double timing chain. I have a Yank TT2600 converter. This truck is/will be a daily driver so minimal surging is a must. Something easy to tune also since i do my own tuning and i'm an idiot. I want something bigger than the LPE GT2-3 but not something crazy. I also don't want to bleed off ANY boost.

That is MY criteria, what do you suggest? thanks.

PS will my new ls6 oil pump fit correctly with my double timing chain? thanks.

Depends on what lobes you want to go with. XERs or LSKs, LSKs are MUCH more aggressive but you will need some patriot dual golds or comparable, the 918s will handle the XER lobes. The lift will be in the mid 580s, ask Richard, he is an intelligent man and I wouldnt think twice about going with what he recommends, he has more experience then 3/4s of this site put together.

How about something like a 220/230 with .570/.570 lift on a 116?

thats sounds nice. what is the advantage of the split on the duration but none on the lift?

Its hard for me to get ahold of Richard when i'm on this crap *** 2p-11p shift on the east coast. When i'm at work, he's not, and when i'm not, he is still in bed.

i meant to ask you the other night...why not dual springs? it will open up a little more options on the criteria as cody is eluding to. I like TBSS' idea 220/230...maybe 218/226 to 228, run that by richard. I wouldn't go under 115lsa..maybe even 116. But I know nothing about cams as well...just lurking knowledge.

i hear ya dew.

i guess i just really need to know what the difference i'm going to FEEL when driving the truck is between like a 220/230 vs a 218/224 and the same thing for lift?

i've always read that the 918's where all i needed. i can get dual springs if need be? what are you guys recommending?
