Default Compression Ratio and Nitrous

I know this is more a nitrous question, but I think I will get more responses over here.

My question is, what is the optimal CR to run nitrous? I am considering a build with an 11:1 CR, but I am not sure if this would be compatable with nitrous. What are your opinions?

tune it good and spray away. the way i understand it is that nitrous likes anything that all motor likes. im going for a 150 shot on 11.0:1

The reason I ask is because I was talking with an old school guy, he said to high of a CR with nitrous is not so good. I was under the impression that CR and N2O do not matter all that much as long as it is set up right. Thanks guys

Stew, your gonna get that thing in the 11's before you know it! Running good?

Someone on another thread was saying that nitrous runs better on High compression than a low 9:1 compression engine. I had asked the same question and that's the answer I got.

My bikes loves its little bit of bottle with 14:1... you just have to tune the **** out of it.

Nitrous does work better on a high compression engine, but it also depends on what you plan to do about fuel. If you want to run pump gas and the juice, stay around 10:1. If you are going to run race fuel with the juice, go between 11 and 12:1. It's just like running boost in it's own way.

ill let you know how a 150 wet works out with 11.0:1 on 93 octane.

I'd guess that at about 23º of timing you should be ok.
