Overall the 918 is probably the most popular spring. But most will tell you to go with the 1218. That's what I run; if I could do it again I'd do the 1518...I'm limited on cam choice and a lot of the new grinds use lift over .600". There seems to be more failures with the 918's, but then again, more people run them I believe. There's also the issue of installing them at the correct height....
