I would stay away from anything that Comp sells except for their camshafts (which happens to be the only thing that they actually still manufacture at Comp as opposed to outsourcing to the lowest bidder). PAC, Manley Nextek, and Crane have proven to have reliable springs that perform as designed.

Ive run 926s on many things, without an issue. Including some extremely harsh setups and they have always worked without fail.

There are several threads if you search for them about Comp 918's ruining motors. As far as their dual springs, I have no clue.

i could show you some serious carnage after about a hand full of heat cycles that the 926s did to my engine id never use a comp spring again, whats even worse they damn near begged me to use them cause they were so perfect to my setup, i got a brand new set if you want them

A lot of people have run 918s without issue too, but I just couldnt see risking it.

I would probably stick with PRC, Patriot, PSI, Crane, Manley, Pac springs.

You just never know with any springs, but I would worry less with the above.
