Comp Cam Rockers
I have a set of cc rockers 1.7 are they worth using or is it better to stay with stock. I had them once on a 408, but didnt know if they are worth putting on a stock lq4. Heard some people can't turn up with them. Right now I'm getting a turbo installed and the guy installing wants to use them. On the 408 I used value cover spacers for clearance that leaked, but he insures me he can fix it with no leak. Any suggestions???

I have comp pro-magnum rockers and I had to mill the casting dimples off under each valve cover for them to fit properly. They fit fine with no leaks. Also had to remove the PCV hardware from the rear driver side cover.

Value covers are milled and ready. Just my spacers leaked last time. I just heard people had problems. I never got last motor right enough to really try them out. Are u running the alum. spacers on yours?

No spacers...No leaks.
Had them off to adjust rockers after a couple thousand miles and reinstalled with same gaskets. I did sandblast the covers while they were off and now I'm wishing I had painted them too.
Still oil tight.
