cam thrust plate

I need a camshaft thrust plate for a pre 04 gen3 and im having a hard time finding the part. I know the new plates have the four countersunk m8 bolts can i use the newer style with the pre 03 block. Thanks!

I use the new plate with regular bolts with no problems.
