Default Cam swap suggestions

So I've pretty much have done almost every bolt on there is. I have a 2004 suburban 5.3...lifted on 38's, longtubes with cat delete, cold air, full magnaflow exhaust, 4.88 with posi-trac, e-fans, with a basic street tune. I primarily use it to tow my 25' toyhauler but im looking for some extra power. Im eventually gonna do the 80 trans swap and turbo it within a year but wanna do something now without swapping the converter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

May want to consider trans swap and converter before cam... But what are your goals and how long before you plan on the swap and the turbo etc??

Just think that putting a cam in for turbo would need a stall even running it na, unless you plan on two cam swaps, or can deal with no bottom end for the time being.... Think the stall and trans would be the better money spent first then cam and turbo at same time....

I'm no expert but I'd agree with Wolf. Even with the 4.88's you've got a lot of tire and weight for that 5.3. If you cam for your current combo it would be less than optimal when the turbo is added and I'd imagine that a turbo cam for your combo will hurt you until it's turbo'd. Good luck whichever way you go and keep us posted!

5.13s would have been a better choice for gears.
defanitly do a 80e swap before trying to add any power. A 278mm 3200 would make a noticeable fun factor increase and also still be able to tow
