You have to pull the heads off to remove the lifters, so I wouldn't recommend that idea haha.

And as far as LS2 timing sets being hard to find, I was refering to getting one local, not online.

where did you get your cam? i want to look up the specs and pricing. what gains did you see from it? (times, hp/tq, etc) how did you hold up your rockers?

I got my cam online, I think it was Thunder Racing that has it, but I'm sure you can get one somewhere else for cheaper.

Heres the specs

216/220 .525 .532 114lsa

And the gains are pretty nice, but since I am putting in a pretty large converter, I will most likely be throwing in a bigger cam.

when are you going to be doing that? how much do you think you would sell your cam for?

not to highjack or anything but 00chevyscott how does that cam do with a stock converter i am really looking at that cam on my car b/c i do not want to swap converters just yet and what kind of gains do you think you picked up with it

if you have a 4l80e your going to want to stall that thing. i always overlooked converters until i actually got one and shaved of 6 tenths in the 1/8 mile
