You have to pull the heads off to remove the lifters, so I wouldn't recommend that idea haha.
And as far as LS2 timing sets being hard to find, I was refering to getting one local, not online.

I got my cam online, I think it was Thunder Racing that has it, but I'm sure you can get one somewhere else for cheaper.
Heres the specs
216/220 .525 .532 114lsa
And the gains are pretty nice, but since I am putting in a pretty large converter, I will most likely be throwing in a bigger cam.

not to highjack or anything but 00chevyscott how does that cam do with a stock converter i am really looking at that cam on my car b/c i do not want to swap converters just yet and what kind of gains do you think you picked up with it
