I don't mind it coming up now and again. Or someone saying they did the search found what they needed but have something unique to try and need an opinion.
I've actually been having great luck with the search within the first 2 pages. 90% of the time, when someone asks a question that I find to be repetitive, I'll do a search and find the answer.
Will an LS6 intake work on my truck?

I usually answer the question with reference to search.

"I just searched and found this....."

Anyone else use the "new posts" button?

SEARCH

rant over
Everyone wants to feel loved and thinks their setup is probably unique. But for me I find the "Bitching about not using the SEARCH tool" threads just as if not more friken stupid...

same here...i joined 2 or 3 forums along with this one but this is the only one that your able to talk to everyone without the people biting your head off...seems like on other forums, the people that post all the time 'rule' everything if you will...not here! lots of respect for fellow members here!!!

I almost always use the "new posts" button....I hit it every 20 seconds. How can you surf the forum without it?
