what are the stock cam specs of a 4.8l and what mods would i have to do to accomedate a z06 cam?

 

I could be wrong but i believe its the same cam they use in the 5.3 which is 191 at .050 intake 190 exhaust .450 lift 114lsa 116ilc, i Believe for you to run that cam all you need to do is Upgrade to the Yellow LS6 Valve Springs, Double check your Piston to Valve clearance though! JMO

 

right on, figured it was somethin in that vicinity..i recently got pretty much the whole ls7 valvetrain for 50 bucks got lucky-thanks

 

If its LS7 the Rockers are Offset on the Intake as the 427 used Rectangle intake ports, the Lifters are good to use from what i understand
