Cam Question
#1
My brother is doing a 4.8 to 6.0 swap and while hes doing that hes putting a new cam in the 6.0. Im going to be putting his old 4.8 in my 92 1500 and I was wondering if the 6.0 cam would work in the 4.8. Also how much difference there would be if any. the specs are:
4.8 - 191/190 .457/.466 lsa114
6.0 - 196/207 .467/.479 lsa116
If its alittle better cool. Hes got brand new springs, and pushrods that hes putting in aswell so'll ill use the stock 6.0's in the 4.8' aswell

I'm no expert but I don't think it would be worth your time to put that cam in. It's not enough of a change to really justify the work. If you're going to go through the mess of doing it put something in that you know will give it a kick in the pants. I would be pissed if I went through all of the work to do something like that and it was only a little better.
