going in a 00 5.3 ecsb 2wd anybody see any problems with this combo going in my truck any advice will be appreciated any other parts i may need?

one more question can i use a longer pushrod to add some lift to this cam?

 

use ls6 cam 02 and later. it's got .550/.550 lift. I got it in my truck. it's running pretty good at high RPM.
I got ported cylinder heads from west coast cylinder head (richard) super nice guy!!!
as far as pushrod, I used 7.400 but it won't change lift open, if you want to get higher lift. You might want to change rockers arm to 1.8 from stock 1.7
should get about .03 more lift up.

also you have to change it to new timing chain. although you can use stock again.

Then you have to start change your tranny!! to run the power to wheel.
