Cam fit question????

Would a LS1 cam fit into a Silverado 5.3? I have heard different things....

Thank you all!!! i was a little worried that i would not fit after talking to some guys that i work with.
I will be installing this in my truck hopefuly next month, any one want to come to Delaware and help? Beer and food will be on me. This would be my first cam install also.

Are those the same friends that talked you into buying a TB spacer?

It's a pretty simple swap that you can do in a few hours. there are a few write ups on how to do it without pulling the intake. But with the 35's i'd recommend your next mod be some gears or a stall. It's going to feel a little slugish from a dig.
And as they stated above. the truck engine is an Iron LS engine with a different intake.
