Question EGR Search, came up with 2 different PN's

EGR block off plug for 99-01/02 6.0L intake.

I have found GM part numbers to reference the same plug, 12558346 and 12554606. On Monday I'm going to the dealership, so which part will work for my 2000 5.3 manifold?

GM parts direct is very vague, they call one a "cover" and the other an "EGR/cvr" which I'm assuming is short for EGR cover. Any help would be great and pics are even better.

Yes, this will be helpful for me as well. I'll need to block mine off when I install the pacesetters.

On a side note, I'm getting a P0405 code?

Google says this:

P0405 code means "EGR sensor circuit A low"...basically block that **** off and tune it out of the PCM for good.

I bought the block off for the intake straight from the dealer...went searching through my records for the invoice with the part number and couldn't find it for the life of me. If you're friendly with a local dealer parts department, they should be able to look up the part and give you the number. It was about $14 IIRC. Ask for an EGR block off from an 02 and up...

I no longer need the part as I got my hands on an '05 manifold, but having the part number for reference would be nice for GMCtrk and anyone else inquiring.
