This is for a nbs 07 Z71 ec. It's become a weekend truck and I'm considering putting a little more power to it to add to the mild stall, dyne tune and LT's/cb. It has a dod stock cam that with the trans rebuild has had the dod function quit functioning.

Is there a cam that can add 40-50 hp without killing mpg and drivability? What should I expect to pay for a swap?

 

Are you sure it is DoD? I don't believe they put DoD on those engines until 2010. Are the L92s aftermarket?

 

I'm not sure about the cam choice, but the 6.0 has DoD on all NNBS 1500's. The L76 6.0 that the vortec max came with also has L92 heads stock.
