what I should have asked is.... Will I be good by just changing the cam and springs and maybe timing chain or do I absolutely need pushrods. If I cant get a cam installed and running with 1000 bucks total I will probably save up for a 6.0 or used sts kit.

 

oh well no you dont need the push rods and realy dont NEED the timing chain, you should be able to get all that done though for plenty under 1000 in labor

 

Id get the pushrods before the timing chain

If your serious about lending me a hand....cause i ahve never done it before and would really like to ahve some help from someone who knows how to do this....but if your serious i ahve a bigass shop we can use.My roommtaes dad has like a 50x60shop or somewhere around there anwyay.So we got a place i just need someone with experience once i get the parts....Still payin for the tranny for at least another 3-4 weeks though...it blew and took all my cam money!!!!Stupid 60E!!!
