Default Cam for 4.8 ls swapped gmc sonoma

I have been looking at camshafts for several months, going back and forth between a 224/228 and several others. I finally decided to have a custom ground cam done for me. What I got was a 219/222@.050" 110lsa no adv with .607/.602 lift. What is the advantages of having so much lift?

I like the way the 228/228@110 performs in a 4.8.

More lift = more air = more fuel and generally = more power.

If the tune is good, you'll be happy. I run a 217/223 that has .604/.610 lift.
