Did you buy any chance check the springs that cam out to see if they were still withen spec??? I am just curious if it was the ones that broke or if there was something wrong whith the whole batch??? BTW were did you get them from???

Nope I pulled them out and slapped the patriots in didnt even really inspect them much. As far as the springs they cam with the heads and were suppose to have around 3-4k on them if I remember correctly. I have prolly put 14k on them since installed last year so all in all close to 20k.

Alot of guys running the Pac springs as well. You could do a Pac 1518 which is still a beehive and good to .650. Keeping the vt weight down using a single spring. Your cam isn't that big so a beehive would still work great.
