Well Tim, since I can't do the "real thing" for a little while, guess I should try to get my fix by using this smiley for the first time myelf:

Oh BTW Tim, if you tuned in an 02 operating system, there are a few other tweaks to the tune that have to be made to turn the battery light off. As you mentioned, it's charging fine, but the PCM isn't seeing a certain feedback signal from the alternator as it should. When I swapped in an 02 PCM, I had to install a newer style alternator and run a wire from the alternator to the PCM to get the light off, but I'm pretty sure that the tuners such as BlackBear and Wheatley have since figured out how to turn it off in the tune without going through all of that. Somewhere along the line GM went to some sort of "duty cycle" with the alternator that the 99-00 trucks don't have. Maybe try shooting Charlie (Wheatley) a PM and ask him about it, he's always willing to help out the cool cats around here
