hi all
i wanna ask about the best cam for


4.8L engine
pacesetter long tubes+Y pipe
crank pulley
msd red wires
Volant intake system
magna flow exhaust
???

sounds good to me. get a 4,600 rpm stall and you should be good.

Haha, there is no specific BEST cam. It depends what you do with the truck or what you plan on doing, where you want the power, if you are going to run a stall, if you want a choppy idle etc. etc.

They mean that the "best cam" is going to be one that best suits your needs. A .681 cam is not a street cam for a DD. If you don't know about cams and stalls then the best thing to do is USE THE SEARCH TAB at the top of the page. Or call up comp cams or another cam company and tell them what you have done and your plans for the truck. They will tell you what cam to use... not a .681 cam for sure!
