well been poking around and think i might go with a used ls2 motor. Wanna stay off the bottle cause I dont want to blow my load all at once. Want the power always there. I can get an ls2 for about 2k with low miles that and efans and custom tune should be fun little silverado.

anyone want to buy a 5.3 with 63k miles ?

Im located in charlotte NC. I could have shop ship my old motor (5.3) out in crate I get my ls2 on. Let me know

I agree with Blown...............look for a used maggie and you could cut your cost by half then you still got room for heads and a cam.............wait, you'll need "that" money for a new trans!!!

The best two things you could do is Buy a 3000 or bigger converter (Yank or Vig) and Spray it! With a tune you should be in the low 13's with some sticky tires.
