Arp main studs? honing required ?

Default Arp main studs? honing required ?

im thinking about what main studs/bolts to order, Arp or new GM ones. and was wondering, do i have to line bore the mains after installing arps ? or is it a bolt in and go thing ?

We've checked this time and time again here at our facility, and 90% of the time you do not need to re-hone the main journals after installing that kit. BUT, we always still check to make sure, because there is that other 10% or so that does.

When I built my 370 I didn't need to hone the main journals.
