The ARP bolts are stronger and get torqued to a certain spec, while the factory head bolts are torque to yield and get torqued to 22 lb/ft, then 2 passes of 90*.

Well I'll be using stockers when I build my LQ9, there's really nothing wrong with them for most N/A applications. The ARP's are heavier duty though, which is good in a boosted application where there's a possibility of lifting a head or something. They're also good if you plan on pulling the heads more than once for whatever reason, since they're reusable unlike the stockers that must be discarded once they've been stretched. The stockers aren't prone to breaking or anything like that though...at least not that I'm aware of. I'm pretty sure that the ARP's are considerably more expensive than the stockers, but not 100% sure

how many times do you plan to swap heads? The 60 dollars it is for stock TTY bolts is plenty for your build. If you plan to swap heads weekly then studs would be best. Most ppl buy set of heads once and they are done with it. So use of ARP isnt needed, but ppl do like to spend money
