any issues with the new comp 918 springs

i didn't want to risk the new springs, i sold the set i had. just use patriot golds and you won't have to worry about dropped valves, their only $100 more. any high performance spring should be up to temp before you start cranking on them. stock springs are a lot more forgiving than aftermarket.

I'd just go better and get duel springs IMO. I had the old 918's and one of em broke within 17k miles on a low lift cam. Think i'll be running patriot from now on.

Its not worth the risk, believe me!

Run the Patriots and dont look back. I guarantee that if you break the 918's its going to cost you more than 100.00 in the end.

The more I read about these problems the more I think that the yellow Z06 springs are best for all .600 and below apps. They never break and are only 12lbs lighter open pressure than the 918's. I guess I should have kept mine.
